The Best Looks from London Fashion Week 2026

London Fashion Week 2026 has offered a vibrant mix of creativity, combining the work of established designers with the fresh perspectives of rising stars. As the British capital seeks to reaffirm its status as a global fashion hub, autumn and winter collections have dazzled audiences with both subtle minimalism and bold statements.

Highlights include Paul Costelloe’s impeccably tailored designs in neutral and brown tones and AGRO Studio’s edgy yet glamorous collection. For those who prefer bold, statement-making pieces, designers like Tolu Coker and Annie did not disappoint.

Royal Front Row for Tolu Coker

Tolu Coker, a former NewGen funding recipient, opened London Fashion Week with a highly anticipated show attended by King Charles III, who had a dedicated front-row seat with a silk cushion. The British-Nigerian designer presented a Notting Hill-inspired runway, reflecting the area where she grew up.

Vibrant red and blue hues, multicolour tartan dresses, matching hats, and ties created a retro feel, blending sustainability with style through the use of deadstock fabrics and eco-friendly dyes. Little Simz performed live, adding energy to the runway while wearing one of Coker’s designs.

Growing Participation and Big Names Return

With 41 runway shows and 20 presentations, participation rose over 10% compared to last year. The British Fashion Council (BFC) has worked to lower barriers for designers by waiving fees for a second consecutive year.

As a result, iconic names like Temperley London returned after seven years, and Joseph reappeared under new creative director Mario Arena after nine years. Other returning big names included Julien MacDonald, Erdem, Simone Rocha, and Burberry, which traditionally closes fashion week on Monday evening.

Emerging Talent and Sustainability

London Fashion Week remains a platform for emerging designers, with the BFC continuing its NewGen scheme. Chocolate browns, earthy beiges, and crisp whites dominated this season, with flattering silhouettes, cinched belts, and structured shoulders highlighted across collections.

Sustainability was emphasized in KSENIASCHNAIDER’s show, showcasing upcycled and reworked pieces designed for versatile wear. The Ukrainian designer duo Ksenia and Anton Schnaider impressed with double denim and military-inspired looks, combining style with eco-conscious practices.

London Fashion Week 2026 demonstrated a perfect blend of heritage, innovation, and sustainability, proving that the capital remains a key destination for fashion talent.
