Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on Donald Trump and Keir Starmer to meet and rebuild their working relationship. He believes their cooperation is essential as global tensions continue to rise.

During a recent interview, Zelensky emphasized the need for unity among Western leaders. He said both leaders should sit down together and develop a shared position to handle ongoing conflicts effectively. Although he avoided directing Trump, he stressed that dialogue between them could strengthen international coordination.

This appeal comes after Trump publicly criticized Starmer, questioning his leadership and comparing him unfavorably to Winston Churchill. Trump described Starmer as a “decent person” but expressed disappointment in his approach.

Despite the criticism, Starmer maintained a firm stance. He reiterated that the United Kingdom will avoid entering a broader conflict. Government officials also reaffirmed that the relationship between the US and UK remains strong and stable.

Zelensky also expressed concern about the growing conflict involving Iran. He warned that this situation could negatively affect Ukraine’s ongoing war with Russia. According to him, the crisis in the Middle East continues to delay peace negotiations related to Ukraine.

“The focus must stay on Ukraine,” Zelensky insisted, highlighting the risk of global attention shifting away from the war.

During his visit to London, Zelensky met Starmer and addressed lawmakers. He described Russia and Iran as closely aligned, claiming both countries support each other through military cooperation and shared hostility.

Zelensky also suggested that Ukrainian defense technology could help allies improve their protection systems. He hinted that such innovations might have prevented recent drone attacks on strategic locations.

His diplomatic tour continues across Europe, including visits to major capitals. Through these meetings, Zelensky aims to maintain international support and keep Ukraine at the center of global discussions.
