LUKE LITTER delivered one of the most dramatic comebacks in recent darts history. He overturned a 5-0 deficit to defeat Gerwyn Price 6-5 and claim victory on night seven of the Premier League Darts in Dublin.

Price started in complete control. The Welsh star dominated the early stages and built a commanding lead. He looked certain to win, especially after his sharp finishing and strong scoring.

However, the match took a shocking turn. Price missed several chances to close out the game, including five darts for the match. Littler took full advantage and shifted the momentum.

A Comeback to Remember

Littler refused to give up. He won six consecutive legs to complete an incredible turnaround. The 19-year-old secured his second weekly win of the season in style.

Earlier in the night, Littler had already shown his form. He edged past Michael van Gerwen in another tight 6-5 contest. That match included two stunning 170 finishes.

Price also impressed before the final. He crushed Josh Rock 6-0 and defeated reigning champion Luke Humphries 6-1. Despite that dominance, he could not finish the job in the final.

Pressure Changes Everything

Once Price missed his first match darts, the pressure increased. His confidence dropped, and his finishing became unreliable. Meanwhile, Littler played freely and attacked every opportunity.

The shift in momentum became clear. What seemed impossible quickly turned into a real chance. Littler stayed composed and completed the comeback in dramatic fashion.

Littler Reacts to Victory

After the match, Littler admitted he could hardly believe what had happened. At 5-0 down, he felt completely out of the contest. Still, he stayed focused and kept fighting.

He ended the final with a 95.54 average, hitting four maximum 180s and achieving a 50% checkout rate. These numbers highlight his quality, but they do not fully capture the drama of the match.

Impact on the Standings

This victory brings Littler closer to league leader Jonny Clayton. The gap now stands at just three points, keeping the title race wide open.

With performances like this, Littler continues to prove he can handle pressure and deliver on the big stage.
