The United States has claimed major success in its recent military operations against Iran. However, questions remain about whether these actions have truly achieved their intended goals.

Since the conflict began, officials have presented a strong narrative of military dominance. Pete Hegseth repeatedly described the campaign as a decisive victory, emphasizing the scale and power of US strikes.

Similarly, Donald Trump highlighted the effectiveness of the attacks. He claimed that key nuclear facilities had been destroyed and that Iran’s capabilities were severely damaged.

Despite these statements, analysts suggest the situation is more complex.

One of the main objectives of the US was to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. This goal has existed for years and was previously addressed through the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

During his earlier presidency, Trump withdrew from this agreement and imposed sanctions. This decision shifted the strategy from diplomacy to military pressure. The current conflict reflects that approach.

However, there is little clear evidence that recent strikes have fully achieved the nuclear objective. Reports indicate that Iran still possesses enriched uranium, which remains a major concern.

Rafael Grossi has suggested that military action alone cannot resolve nuclear tensions. He emphasized that long-term solutions require diplomatic engagement.

The conflict has also increased tensions between both sides. Iran’s leadership appears more cautious and possibly more determined to strengthen its defenses. This could lead to further escalation rather than resolution.

While the US may have demonstrated military strength, the broader outcome remains uncertain. A fragile ceasefire is already under pressure, and future negotiations will play a crucial role.

Ultimately, the success of the campaign depends not only on battlefield results but also on long-term stability. Without a clear diplomatic path, the conflict may leave unresolved issues that continue to shape regional tensions.
