Deontay Wilder challenged Anthony Joshua directly after his points win over Derek Chisora. The American fist-bumped Joshua ringside at London’s O2 Arena and said, “Let’s do it!” He added, “He’s scared,” as he walked away.

Wilder secured a split decision victory with scores of 115-111, 115-113, and one judge favoring Chisora 115-112. This marks his 45th win in 50 fights, though recent form dipped since his Fury trilogy losses.

Joshua supported friend Chisora in what may be the veteran’s final bout. The two-time champion recovered from a December Nigeria car crash that killed two friends. He last stopped Jake Paul in six rounds on December 19.

Promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed Joshua welcomes a Wilder clash. “AJ stared ice cold but would fight him no problem,” Hearn said. Plans for Joshua vs. Fury collapsed earlier, with Fury now facing Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11.

Wilder dubs himself “Mr Clean,” vowing to dominate heavyweights. A 2024 Joshua-Wilder bout fell through after Wilder’s Joseph Parker loss.
