Daniel Rodriguez eyes UFC comeback after eight months locked in Tijuana prison. The 39-year-old welterweight posted Instagram training footage Thursday, captioning it “ready for my return to the UFC octagon.”
Video shows Rodriguez pounding heavy bags and sparring before prison cells. “Eight months in a Tijuana cage never broke my spirit,” he declared. “Prison created a monster—expect hungrier, more focused me.”
The #14 ranked fighter last beat Kevin Holland by decision in July. He owns 10-4 UFC record since 2020 debut. Arrest details remain undisclosed despite legal inquiries.
Rodriguez thanked supporters who secured his freedom. “They tried taking everything,” he said. “Now I reclaim it all in the Octagon.”
