Thursday’s football gossip highlights Salah staying at Liverpool, Casemiro planning a European move, and Collins attracting Premier League interest.

Egypt forward Mohamed Salah, 33, is happy to stay at Liverpool until the end of his contract in 2027 if a move to the Saudi Pro League does not happen this summer.

Eintracht Frankfurt’s 22-year-old Germany defender Nnamdi Collins is attracting attention from six Premier League clubs: Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Newcastle, Brighton, and Brentford.

Manchester United midfielder Casemiro, 34, wants to continue playing in Europe after his contract ends at Old Trafford this summer, with Italy among the possible destinations.

German agent Volker Struth, who previously worked with Florian Wirtz, revealed he offered Wirtz to Real Madrid last summer before his £116m transfer from Bayer Leverkusen to Liverpool.

Manchester United plan to sell goalkeeper Andre Onana, 29, this summer, though they expect to get less than the £50m paid to Inter Milan in 2023. Onana, however, wants to fight for his spot as United’s number one once his loan at Trabzonspor ends in May.

Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United are monitoring Ajax’s 18-year-old Dutch midfielder Sean Steur, while Sunderland hopes to sign Algerian midfielder Yacine Titraoui, 22, from Belgian side Charleroi. His representatives prefer he avoids a move to Premier League rivals Wolves due to relegation risks.

Manchester United have yet to reopen contract talks with 20-year-old England midfielder Kobbie Mainoo.

In MLS news, Orlando City have offered France forward Antoine Griezmann a three-year deal, with the 34-year-old set to discuss the proposal with Atletico Madrid.

Super Lig leader Galatasaray vice-president Abdullah Kavukcu says Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen’s value has doubled since his €75m (£65.4m) transfer from Napoli. Meanwhile, Manchester United have agreed to sell reserve goalkeeper Altay Bayindir, 27, to Besiktas for £4.3m in the summer.
