Sinner will face Czech player Jiri Lehecka on Sunday in his bid to claim a second Miami title in three years.

On Track for the Sunshine Double

Sinner is chasing a historic milestone: becoming the first man since Roger Federer in 2017 to win both Indian Wells and Miami Open in the same season, completing the so-called “Sunshine Double.”

The Italian, reigning Wimbledon champion and four-time Grand Slam winner, previously defeated Zverev in the Indian Wells semifinals two weeks ago, marking his seventh consecutive win against the German.

Sinner Reflects on His Performance

“It has been an incredible run,” Sinner said. “I’ve been playing as many matches as possible, and today was a tough challenge. Zverev played some incredible tennis, but I served well in the key moments. Reaching the final again means so much to me.”

With this victory, Sinner extended his record to 16 consecutive wins in Masters 1,000 tournaments and has now won 32 consecutive sets at this level.

Lehecka Reaches First Masters 1,000 Final

Jiri Lehecka advanced to his first Masters 1,000 final after beating Arthur Fils 6-2, 6-2 in just over an hour.

“I’m very excited to be in a final,” Lehecka said. “At the same time, it’s just tennis. There are bigger things happening in the world. I’m focused on doing what I do best.”

Final Showdown Awaits

Sinner and Lehecka will meet in Sunday’s Miami Open final, promising a thrilling contest between a seasoned contender and a rising star. With the Sunshine Double on the line, Sinner looks set to continue his remarkable form.
