Thousands of supporters of Tottenham Hotspur left the stadium at half-time during Thursday’s match. Their early exit showed growing concern about the club’s fight to avoid relegation.

Spurs started well and scored an early goal against Crystal Palace. However, the match quickly turned against them. Palace scored three goals within 12 minutes in the first half.

A penalty conceded and a red card for Micky van de Ven made things worse for the home side. The quick collapse left fans frustrated and worried.

Spurs Still Without a Win in 2026

Tottenham remain the only team in the Premier League without a victory in 2026.

The club has now gone 11 league matches without a win. It is their worst run since 1935, when Spurs went 15 games without victory.

With only nine matches left in the season, Tottenham sit just one point above the relegation zone.

Igor Tudor Still Confident

Despite the poor run, Tottenham manager Igor Tudor believes the team is improving. Tudor has lost all three matches since taking charge but says he sees positive signs.

He said the team is moving in the right direction and will survive the relegation battle. Tudor also stressed the need to select the right players who can help the team improve.

The former Juventus manager believes the squad will perform better once injured players return.

Fans Show Their Frustration

Many supporters did not stay to watch the second half. When the players returned to the pitch, large sections of seats were empty.

Fans who remained until the final whistle expressed their anger with loud boos.

Tottenham supporters last celebrated a Premier League home win on 6 December 2025 against Brentford.

Former Chelsea and England national football team winger Joe Cole criticised the performance while speaking on TNT Sports.

He said the atmosphere in the stadium felt tense and the performance lacked energy and determination.

Questions Over Tottenham’s Future

When Tudor accepted the job last month, he confidently said Tottenham would “100%” avoid relegation. After another defeat, that claim now looks uncertain.

The manager acknowledged the fans’ frustration and said he understands why many left early.

However, Tudor avoided discussing his own future at the club as speculation grows about whether he will remain in charge until the end of the season.
