A federal judge dismissed most claims in Blake Lively’s sexual harassment lawsuit against Justin Baldoni. Judge Lewis Liman rejected 10 of 13 allegations, including harassment and defamation.
Three claims survive: breach of contract, retaliation, and aiding retaliation. These head to a New York civil trial on May 18.
Lively sued Baldoni in 2024 over their It Ends With Us set clashes. She accused him of harassment and a smear campaign. Baldoni denied charges and countersued.
Lively’s attorney Sigrid McCawley vows to expose retaliation tactics that trashed her reputation. Technicalities dropped harassment claims, not innocence. Lively will testify to spotlight online attacks.
Baldoni’s team welcomes the narrowed case. They look forward to defending remaining claims in court.
Judges previously tossed Baldoni’s $400M countersuit alleging extortion and defamation.
