MANCHESTER UNITED have a rising talent in JJ Gabriel, but fans will have to wait before seeing him in senior action.

Despite his growing reputation, Gabriel remains ineligible to play in the Premier League this season due to age restrictions. Players must turn 15 before the start of the campaign, and Gabriel only celebrated his birthday in October.

Even so, the young forward continues to attract attention with his performances at youth level. During a recent FA Youth Cup victory over Sunderland, he delivered moments of quality that excited supporters. Fans who attended the match were eager to meet him afterward, highlighting the growing buzz around his talent.

Gabriel may be younger and physically smaller than many of his opponents, but his technical ability sets him apart. His vision, passing, and creativity allow him to influence games consistently.

In that match, he created key opportunities, including a clever assist and a decisive contribution to the winning goal. He also displayed impressive footwork late in the game, underlining his natural flair.

His performances have helped United progress to a Youth Cup semi-final against Crystal Palace. The two sides will also meet in an Under-18 Cup final, giving Gabriel another platform to showcase his abilities.

Coaches at youth level often avoid placing too much pressure on young players. However, Gabriel’s talent has made him difficult to ignore. Like Max Dowman, another highly rated youngster, he continues to draw attention from across the football world.

Manchester United have already taken steps to secure his future. Club officials, including technical director Jason Wilcox, have worked to convince him to remain at the club amid interest from top European teams.

Gabriel’s development has been impressive. He currently leads scoring charts at youth level and has maintained strong form, scoring regularly in recent matches. Under the guidance of coach Darren Fletcher, he has adapted to different roles, including playing as a central forward to maximize his impact.

Senior team staff have also taken notice. Manager Ruben Amorim invited him to train with the first team, offering valuable experience at a higher level.

Fletcher has praised Gabriel’s attitude and dedication, emphasizing his strong work ethic and passion for the game. He believes the youngster has a bright future but stresses that continued development remains essential.

Gabriel’s journey is still in its early stages, and comparisons with past stars highlight the path ahead. Wayne Rooney made his senior debut at just 16 and quickly became one of England’s top players.

While Gabriel is not yet ready for senior football, his progress suggests that moment may not be far away. For now, fans will continue to watch his rise through the youth ranks with great anticipation.
